Ken Wong
Ken Wong

TD Securities

Ken Wong is Head of Product Strategy and Innovation for the Global Transaction Bank at TD Bank. Ken has been in the financial Industry for over 34 years in different business divisions from Consumer Banking to
Wholesale Banking with roles from Front Office and Relationship Management to Back Office Operations and Technology. He is a seasoned Treasury, Cash Management, Payments practitioner as well as an innovator with Patents accredited to him. He has extensive international exposure having lived and worked in Asia, Europe, Middle East and North America.Prior to re-joining TD Securities, Ken was Global Head of Payments and Clearing for Standard Chartered Bank; and prior to that he worked for Citibank in the eBusiness group. In 1999, Ken was a pioneer in a payments infrastructure start-up, in partnership with VISA
International and Allianz Group, where he designed and built an alternate cross-border / cross-currency clearing
system that guaranteed delivery to which he is accredited as inventor in two patents.

Ken holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia and ICM designation from the
Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Barry Tooker

Barry is the Principal at TransactionBanker.com, a payments consultancy, and is a recognized expert in wholesale banking and the payments industry. He has been involved in payment operations, systems transformations, and modernization related projects for global banks and hardware and software firms for decades. Barry has managed day to day operations, as well as planned, organized, directed, and managed, major banking initiatives for banks around the world.

Barry is a current member of the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade (BAFT) Payments Committee and Co- Chairs their Payments Roadmap Workgroup. He is a past member of their Board of Directors. He was recognized in 2021 and 2022 as one of two BAFT Ambassadors of the Year. Barry is also a member of the US Faster Payments Council where he serves as the Chair of their Cross Border Payments Workgroup and as member of their Operational Considerations Workgroup.

Michael is providing industry advisory, thought leadership and customer segment specific solutions for Global Treasury Management customers. He is focused on emerging technologies, future strategic trends in payments and emerging risks. Michael is the co-chair of the Global Payments Market Practice Group, co-chair of the CPMI-PMPG Joint Task Force (JTF) on ISO 20022 Harmonisation and a member of the CPMI – cross-border payments interoperability and extension (PIE) taskforce and other industry groups such as SWIFT US Cash and Trade Sub-Committee, Instant Payments Plus, X9 and the High Value Payments Plus working group.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo & Co. Michael was managing Enterprise Services for Citibank Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) and functioned as the data governance officer for TTS. Michael represented Citibank on the CHIPS Business Committee and the Fedwire Wholesale Payments Committee. Various assignments for Citibank in Chicago, London and New York allowed him to lead new market initiatives such as EMU, CLS and TARGET as well as create new products in Payroll Cards, Commercial Cards, FX Settlements and Global Currency Clearing.

Michael holds an MBA in Finance and Information Services from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He earned his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Duisburg, Germany

Miriam Sheril

Miriam Sheril is the Head of Product in the US at Form3 with responsibility to build out and enhance Form3’s product capabilities in the US, focusing real time payments and
other rails such as the Federal Reserve’s FedNow service and The Clearing House’s RTP service. Miriam comes with more than 13 years’ experience in financial services, where she focused on product and software development and management. She joins Form3 from the Federal Reserve Bank, where she was most recently the FedNow Core
Product Manager Lead AVP, responsible for the design and build of the FedNow product since its inception.

Miriam holds a Master of Science in information systems from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in computational mathematics from Brooklyn College.

Elspeth Bloodgood, AAP, NCP is a senior product manager for Jack Henry’s JHA PayCenter and a subject matter expert in the Zelle, FedNow, and RTP networks. She has been in the payment industry for the better part of 20 years, starting with a stint on the x9B committee that created the IRD standard for Check 21. She has been a frequent work group member for NACHA, the Faster Payments Council and its predecessors, and other cross industry groups. She has experience in online BillPay for the iPay Division of Jack Henry. Prior to that, she was in product management for biller direct and ACH products at multiple companies.
